Robert was a teacher for over thirty years, teaching in Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and overseas locations. His last position was lecturing in Creative Writing at Victoria University. After leaving teaching he moved to Bali where he owned a bar for six years. Robert has self-published four works of fiction: Selected Works; The Wheeler Sign; Another Winter's Tale and Sylvia Rose: An Australian Story. He has been a presenter on JOY radio for ten years - the only gay radio station in Australia.
